Catalysts A Conversation Series on Teaching
This is a monthly series of conversations with UofA teaching award winners on their trials and triumphs in teaching. Led by the award winners themselves, the series is meant to provide a forum for celebration, conversation and reflection about teaching practices. Everyone is welcome to come and learn from some of our best teachers.
Drawing from their own successes and failures, participants in this panel discussion will share practical tips about what they’ve learned to do when teaching, and, more importantly, what not to do! The discussion will be hosted by Frank Robinson (instructor of animal science 200, 3M Teaching Fellow, Vice Provost and Dean of Students) and features Clive Hickson (Education), Candide Sloboda (Nursing) and Alex Brown (Chemistry).
