Here are the RAF aerobatic team, the Red Arrows, seen flying in a V-formation (like Canada geese) and in a pack or in a straight line. Sometimes, the planes, Hawk T-1 jets, would leave their trademark red, white, and blue trails in the air. Their Toronto appearance at the Canadian International Air Show was a stopover on their North American tour, to commemorate the RAF's centennial.

What are these beauties F-5 ?....or T-38......never mind, they are a variant of the USAF T-45 Goshawk, US Navy Carrier Trainer....I'm just seeing the Talon in the design.
@stuco815 жыл бұрын
Wrong way round ;) They are BAe (hawker) Hawks, the Goshawk is a USN Variant developed from the Hawk
@ErnestGutschikAviation5 жыл бұрын
Precisely ;)
@canconservative89765 жыл бұрын
@@stuco81 Well.....actually the BAE Hawk only came into existence because the the US Airforce's decision to begin phasing out the T-38 (as a trainer) although to this day the T38 is still used by the USAF and US Navy as a trainer (and NASA).... So by the US opening this trainer aircraft to bidders worldwide, BAE got the contract and they somewhat copied the engineering/design, thus the similarity to the T38 (and F5!)........So, yes the US did adopt the BAE Hawk and convert it (made it better) to the T-45 Goshawk! ....anyway, there is a link between all 3 aircraft! p.s. Excellent filming!...and great flying...
@stuco815 жыл бұрын
@@canconservative8976 The Hawk was developed by the Hawker Siddley company (who also built the Harrier, the Hunter and co-developed/built the Concorde! So why on earth you think they'd need to copy the t-38 is beyond me!) in the 60's to meet a UK MOD requirement to replace the Folland Gnat as the RAF's jet trainer. The Goshawk is a Navalised version built by McDonnell Douglas, almost a decade after the Hawk came into service. As far as I'm aware its never been operated by the USAF. The Hawk has been widely exported, both as a trainer and as a light attack aircraft.

Maybe they can engage and display quicker than small drone flying , perhaps it is true that even in a Gnat it still be that virtue of real former or not the diamond enough proves the idea .Everyone has their opinion ,seems from the square diamonte formation pause. IEventualkly maybe boeing might have realtime virtual exitement. Obviously I,m not them but formation diamond and breaking off iis how I judge them, even though like it's their planes and crews and onlookers that probably will. Good pilots get engagements's and wars won . Hope that's always true as an arrow to go by, especially in these tender times.Still low are the Army Air helo's too obviously another good flying helo.

First off, they should not be banned from Canada at all. Secondly, that’s because the team is English. Don’t expect the team to learn a new language to every foreign country they travel to so they can please the spectators. Mind you, they just did two Middle Eastern and Asian tours before this one and they kept communications in English and there were no problems at all.
