@Rahulshah-dw6np3 жыл бұрын
It's not about the specific topic which she mentioned, it's about how our education system is worthless cuz almost everything we learned is never gonna be used by people. And if we talk about AI, ML then what you think about how much people learned linear algebra, stats, probability, etc., and gonna make it into Data science? I say we gotta teach kids first that what's more important things in life(materialistic way) and then tell them this studies will guide you to attain that things. Then n only then more people will actually apply what they truly learned. I gotta say it's all about psychology, how our parent generation made money a bad thing. And if you're also in AI/ML tech then I suggest you to learn about finance. Actually, everybody should learn about finance. Hail #FinanceLiteracy
@avinashnayak0073 жыл бұрын
The topic of conversation here is financial iq, so the point was that we've forgotten about basic maths (compound interest) which would help us in being financially strong and making wiser decisions with our money.... They are talking more on the finance line than on IT application...

1. Compound Interest doesn't work with Mutual Funds, It can even work with and FD when you keep it for a longer tenure by renewing it every year. 2. Mutual Funds show the returns of 16 to 22% from one date to the other on NAV, but we should consider the yearly average rolling returns which go to 8 to 10% overall. 3. While compounding, the inflation of 6% also gets applied to it. It follows the divide by 72 rule, which means the value of the money gets doubled every 72/6 = 12 years approx. It means 3 lacs in 2032 will be 1.5 lacs of today. 4. Compound Interest is highly effective when we keep invested for 30 to 40 years, which means your 70% of lifespan is gone just by investing your hard-earned money and compromising your needs all the time. 5. So, you should invest only the bare minimum amount to get the magical effect. Because there is least possibility that you will enjoy it considering your life span, health, and relationship with your children.
