Gaia is obviously Mother Gaia, and that song is about creation of earth. Messanger in Flames is literally Mercury, with the song being about death of the Sol, as it consumes inner solar system. Which means that ironically the first song is a little bit of a mystery, WHICH goodness are we singing about? The name dropping of Venus makes this a little bit weird to be actually her, but that's the best match I have now Rising over the horizon of the seas, The first "wandering star" of the evening, inviting us to dance with the stellar crowd

The songs seeminly have a double linkage to their planetary counterparts and their mythologie. Mercury as both the closest to the sun and linked to mercurius/hermes the messenger of the gods and messenger of doom. Gaia most obviously linked to its mythological counterpart, with the origins of earth being shaped by the great tempests gales and constant solar radiation battering the earth. Goddess i presume is linked to venus because of 2 sentences: "crossing sols burning gaze" and "born from the sea and the waves." One telling its position relative to earth eclipsing at times the sun making the planet visible on earth. The last part linked to the mythological birth of venus out of the sea foam.
