@@IuriSigma The singer, Rekka Katakiri, was also the singer and lyric-writer for the two Cocona songs in the Ar Tonelico games (METHOD_HYMMELI and METHOD_HYMME_GRANZERO=SPEAR), which were developed by Gust, the same studio as the Atelier games. And the arranger and composer for both of those is HIR, who arranged this song. And it's very evident, I think - those two are also very chant-like, with strong drums. I thought of those within ten seconds of starting this. So: I don't know whether they've been involved with Atelier directly, but they're not at more than one remove from it.

@@typehere6689 I doubt Tanaka would give up his control over the plot and worldbuilding of the game. _If_ there was any form of community contribution it would be shipgirl/abyssal design _at most_ , although this is still highly impossible because it is hard to keep the quality in check. In addition, IMO it is best not to make the official game/mythos a collaborative work; the game revolves around WWII warships and related historical events, which means that if there isn't any form of gatekeeping it is guaranteed to have an influx of wehraboos and tojoboos which effectively kills the title as a friendly neighborhood national brand with countless collaborations with JMSDF (Japan's quasi-naval force which has been trying hard to distant itself from its shameful past as IJN) and various civilian companies.
