FKJ, or French Kiwi Juice, is a self-taught multi-instrumentalist from France.
The world's largest salt flat serves as a direct source of inspiration and experimentation for his live loop performance, as he weaves his signature blend of electronic, jazz, and R&B music into the vast, reflective expanse.
He tells us during the interview: "I didn't want the location to be a background to my music. I wanted the music to be the soundtrack of the location. I did play a few of my tracks that fitted the location, but for the rest I tried to take a look around and to inspire myself from nature."

I agree wholeheartedly. I saw FKJ perform last night in San Francisco at a small venue (1400 person capacity). It was an intimate and amazing show. I also saw him last year at a huge 9000 person capacity show that was sold out. @21:10 the percussions are extremely next level as is this whole entire set. FKJ is pure genius from one composition to the next. This is nothing short of masterful, from the complexity of the chords, layers, percussions, and elite sound engineering. I'm seeing him live at Royal Oak Music theator in a few days and I am blow away by the thought of witnessing this musical excellence in person. This dude is Beethoven with a midi board. He's MacGyver with his instruments and music at it's purest form.
