I made this recipe (2 batches) to give as a thank you gift to a group of college students from India. It's so easy to make! They were so happy, and they said it looks exactly like the real Indian treat! I told them to add more spices if they need to. I like the way it tastes.

At 2:00am, I could not wait to prepare some for myself, I had most ingredients, chivda turned out really good,just the way I prefer, little spicier than your recipe, and now I am enjoying it with a can of beer, this healthy chivda goes with just about anything, tea, coffee, soft drinks, beer and so on......Thank you Manjula ji.
