Arrow didn’t include a video in the Friday 13th 2009 4k because Warner Brothers doesn’t see reason to include the blu-ray in the arrow release because it would compete with their own blu-ray release.

Project A is by far my favourite Jackie Chan movie. And the first one I ever saw. Was on a bad VHS copy 😂 and I loved it so much. I was about seven and was sooo amazed 😂

Really places you in a tough spot when you are delivered a erotic film and they want you to talk about them, lol.Also Max Steiner has conducted one of the greatest film score for 1933 King Kong.

Holy cow, I love Dark Night of the Scarecrow!!! The same features would be on the bluray edition, too? Not just the 4K? I don't have the capability as of yet to really take advantage of the 4K, though I have bought some that were just new versions, so I'll do that here if necessary.

I think Scream Factory still has the Blu-ray rights to "Friday the 13th" (2009) in the U.S., and Arrow just has the 4K rights, so that's why no Blu-ray in Arrow's release.

Heya Heath. Yes, Arrow doesn't do deep cuts as much anymore and they seem to be going more mainstream. And honestly it kind of pisses me off because if i want mainstream i will go to the actual cinemas. Cheers.

Shout/Scream Factory's output of late has been super underwhelming! I am excited for their upcoming release of Mike Flanagan's Hush, but it has felt like they've dropped the ball on putting out more classic horror flicks -- for a few years it's just felt like they've been doing 4k re-releases with no new features or anything. It felt like they were the go-to studio for a lot of the 70s and 80s horror movies, but have really been trounced by others including Arrow and Vinegar Syndrome.

I'm excited for the Friday the 13th 4k it's a favorite of mine i get people don't like it but I think it's a fun time and the blu-ray is very outdated

When it comes to boutique labels like Arrow, are you sure the blu ray versions are still selling stronger than the 4K ones? I feel like nowadays I consistently see the 4K versions of limited editions sell out well before the blu ray ones. It's possible they're making more units for the blu ray ones, but I don't think so 🤔
