I was 11 years old when blueberry wafflos came out and I was obsessed lol I would pay 10 bucks for a box of that today! Great channel keep up the great work! Remember nostalgia, never dies in popularity. It only increases the older we all become.

My older brother always swore by these things whenever I would tell him how Waffle Crisp is my favorite cereal. He insists that Waffelos were easily better than Waffle Crisp, which always just made me wish I got to try some, but it was sadly before my time.

I was 13 when this was discontinued. I can't say I was a fan, but the commercials were on Saturday morning television, and I remember them. As for your Hiatus, my friend will be sorely missed.

Waffelos was a superb cereal. My mom would pick them at a grocery store called pantry pride. Along with king vita these were a staple in my early childhood. Thank you for that wacky packages spot. They were stickers and you could get the book to stick them in.

I remember eating Waffelos at my cousin's house and liking it a lot. I don't think Mom ever bought it for me. (shrugs) Waffle Crisp was definitely my go-to Waffle cereal. Enjoy the hiatus, Gabe!!

Best waffle cereal ever even to this date. Fun activity book for them too I'm pretty sure. Always liked any boxes with cutouts especially ones with building fronts (in fact I'm pretty sure I had several and started Waffelville; pretty sure there was another franchise that did it too (other than Lone Ranger, i mean). I've gotta check online if they have them all somewhere.

Another cereal i wish I could have tried. Born in 1989, I missed a lot of these by just 5 or so years. Thanks for this upload, as Waffle cereals are my favorite. Enjoy your break! Edit: my favorite waffle themed cereal was the original Waffle Crisp. I’m happy it’s back, but, I really miss the original recipe.

I was a teenager then, but I don't remember this cereal at all. The western theme would have been more popular in the '50s and '60s.

Dude's got the Purina logo on his hat, and I'm guessing that the shape of the cereal is a reference to the checkerboard too. The Purina founder was a Ralstonite so that checkerboard logo had a weird esoteric meaning too.

If it tastes anything like any of the current waffle cereals, I'm pretty sure I'd love it! The one thing I would love to do if I could go back in time is go to a store and buy a bunch of now long discontinued cereals or try the ones where they changed the recipie in recent years such as the monster cereals in their original oat form.

The look of the pieces of the "Wafflelo " Cereal reminds me of the cereal pieces of "Crackin Oat Bran". After seeing that this cereal existed, I don't get what the connection is between cowboys and waffles. It seemed like it came out of left field. A more fitting mascot for a waffle cereal were those old ladies for the "Waffle Crisp" Cereal, I think.
