Ma’am in diplegia, double hemiplegia LL and UL are affected more respectively. Then how to check for extension of involvement? By DTR / tone etc?
@learningpediatrics5347
@learningpediatrics5347 7 ай бұрын
In diplegic CP, tone is increased in the legs, resulting in spasticity or stiffness, while the arms may have normal or slightly increased tone. DTR exaggerated in the lower limbs. In double hemiplegic CP, tone bilateral increases symmetrically but more increase in arms than legs, with both sides of the body affected equally. DTR also exaggerated in both upper and lower limbs

@@learningpediatrics5347 ma’am can you please make video on vaccination? I had one doubt that are booster vaccines different from priming vaccines? If not why don’t we label it as continuation dose!? E.g. DPT 1/2/3 @ 6/10/14 weeks and DPT-Booster 1 & 2 @ 16-18 months and 4-5 years respectively;; why don’t we simply label 16-18 months and 4-5 years dose as DPT- 4&5?
