I find Blasto's actor to be hilarious, because when coming into contact with both the Hero of the Citadel and someone his species views as gods, his reaction was to complain that he wasn't sharing top billing.

I know that the hanar, volus and elcor were totally secondary races in all trology and are far from being the most explored as the most interesting races (those of the companions), but it is a pity that it is so, that is, there is a description of the codex and the hanar behave like this for the rest of the game.

I always find it baffling how the other Citadel NPCs are always like 'Pffffffffffffft, big stupid jellyfish amirite? lol!1!!1!!!' You have representatives of multiple interstellar factions trying to share power and... sorta succeeding, but with a _lot_ of tension in play. Then you have a secondary player in the form of a species that is diplomatic to a fault and has limited interest in colonial expansion, and all anyone can focus on is: 'Gee, they're a bit pedantic aren't they?'

@Stinkehund3 жыл бұрын
"From the outside perspective, the drell certainly do have the shorter side of the bargain" - but do they, though? Because the alternative was to die with the rest of their species while their civilization and their entire planet collapsed around them. Plus, it's very likely that a good number of drell are born outside of Kahje or move away at an early enough age so they wouldn't develop the fatal disease in the first place.
@darioestebaneliztrado46413 жыл бұрын
Eh .. not really in the canon this does not happen, almost all the drells were born in kahjee and those who go to other worlds generally do so as adults or are too few

@mechanomics26493 жыл бұрын
@cyotee doge Biology is a thing, what's your point?
@101Mant3 жыл бұрын
@@samwill7259 the two are connected. To say its arbitrary would mean there is no connection, yet there clearly is and has been through human history, even in many cultures that have had more than the two genders we historically had in the west. Nobody is saying someone's gender has to be determined by biology but ignoring reality to claim it usually isn't. If gender and biological sex were completely unconnected there would be no physical aspect to transitioning. It's amazing how people are to yell transphobia without looking at the content. Yes transphobic people hide behind a misunderstanding of biology sometimes but it doesn't mean anyone mentioning biology is transphobic or we should ignore actual objective facts like people's gender is overwhelmingly influenced by their sex with the exception a statistically very small minority.
@samwill72593 жыл бұрын
@@101Mant People transition to be more comfortable in their own skin and not ever transgender or non-binary person chooses to change their body at all. The mere existence of transgender and non-binary folks proves that any relation between sex and gender is an illusion, the fact that they're a minority is totally irrelevant.
