Awesome deer, the Sika. Hairs on the neck always stand up when you see the ghost of the forest appear. They don't need to be an 8 all the time. Congrats and thanks for sharing.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed. We have adapted our film style slightly, to make the viewer feel more immersed in the action, like they are really there following along on the hunt too. With the immersive sights and sounds around we experienced.

Could have all the best gear in the world but like anyting you can still miss great to show a miss and not all the good hits best part of a series showing what can really happen sika one hardy animal 😉

Well done Owen, my .270 is 1" @ 100 so just come half way down and whack it. I never mess with the RF and clicks..too much going on. But you got it.

Great film pal..had you not shot that setup out to 300 ? A good clean miss is the best miss and we all have done before ..cheers

Great vid, perfectly catches the atmosphere of an early morning stalk in a beautiful location. This isn't a criticism purely a point of interest but I was surprised to see you stalking with 'ear defenders' on, particularly with a moderator on the rifle too. I obviously wear mine during range and practice etc but would find them a hindrance when on a stalk, especially 'over-ear' models. Does anyone else wear ear protection whilst stalking?

@CervusUK Жыл бұрын
Funny that, you can have all the gear yes, but we’re still only human.. we won’t hide from that - that’s the reality when it comes to hunting!

Great film as usual and a well composed follow up👍. Sorry ,but just not a fan of all this thermal hunting . Seems like the art of spotting the quarry will be lost and gives unfair advantage . As for the follow up an impressive image in poor light, but I expect a good dog would have got there first, my preference all day every day.
