Awesome overview Mike! As @thebluebikedoyle mentioned, waterproof connectors are the best solution. When I put Audio on my Road King, I used the Deutsch Connectors…and selected their mounted, bulkhead type for connecting to the saddlebags. That way it’s a sealed connector and also looks ‘factory’. Can’t wait to see what Amplifier & DSP solution you’re going with. Ride safe!

@@uniqueflh2941 thanks bud. Hope to have that out in a week or two. Took me a bit to find a good 8 gauge waterproof connector but finally found one.

@@Mikeityourself - for 8-gauge, I used the Anderson SB-50 connector. I ended-up swapping that out for an SB-120…and upgraded the power wiring to 4-gauge. For all of my other wiring, it’s Deutsch Connectors using their solid-barrel pins.

@@robertking5701 thank you for watching, they do make them for the 98 to 13 bags. Here is the link to the 2ohm version, they have 4 ohm too. cerwinvega.com/products/rpmst692cx2lk13
