Seems like a proper setup Mike! I’m anxious to watch your review video so you can tell us how it sounds while riding. Would also like to see footage of how the wiring looks after you cleaned it up. How close are your wires to your Drive Belt? My power wires are in a similar location, and they are VERY close to the Belt when I’m air’d out. It clears for me, but not by much. - My Road King audio is in the process of being reworked, because I originally went with a 4-ohm Amplifier & Speaker setup…which sounds fine in a parking lot, but doesn’t push hard enough for highway speeds without a windshield. I’ve got all the power wiring redone & upgraded to 4AWG in anticipation of the new equipment…just have not gotten opportunity to buy the new Amp & Speakers yet. - I like the Waterproof Anderson Connectors you used. I opted for their ‘standard’ SB Connectors so I could make all of the wiring ‘cut-to-fit’ and not have any splices mid-cable’. They’re not full-on waterproof, but close enough for my needs. And the SB Connectors have a ‘bulkhead’ option, so I have a 4AWG power disconnect at the side of the bag. - For the other wires, I grabbed the Crimper Tool for building Deutsch Connectors. This allowed me to use Bulkhead Connectors for all the smaller gauge wires, and cut everything in my harness to the specific length I needed. - Lastly. Hit me up on the e-mail…I still have those grab bar delete plates for you. Great video. Ride safe!

Hey bud, I ended up re-routing my wires between the seat and the top of the frame because it did look too close to the belt. I thought about hiding stuff behind my side panel but then it would be a pain each time I wanted to pull the bag off. I havent hit the highway yet, works been killing my time but hope to lay some miles down this coming weekend. Still working on that PO box, they day job is just tanking me for now but really do appreciate it.

Thanks man. I want to do that to my 14 SG. Where did you get the lid kit? Did you use your original bags and cut the lids or did they come like that?
