Hey, DJ THT! I'll definitely buy this template! I hope you have time to read the following, as it would mean a lot to me. I've been a big fan of hands-up-music ever since it's inception in the early/mid 2000s. It's always been "my genre", if you know what I mean. And I've spent years trying to make my projects sound like the masters such as you, Manian, Rob Mayth, Dan Winter, Verano, DJ Gollum, Pulsedriver, Axel Coon, Rocco, Bass-T (R.I.P.), Jens O. etc., mainly through the use of Vengance-products and Nexus, of course (as I'm not a good sound-designer myself). Many years ago, I was even a student at a music-production-school (a studio-technician-education) for a year, so I was quite serious at a point, about wanting to make quality hands-up music. Unfortunately though, some time ago I got hearing-damage and some hearing-loss in my right ear, and I then realized that I probably had to stop making music for good... So I'll probably never be able to actually produce any proper music, as my right ear has become very sensitive to sound (even to quiet sounds, when listening to the same sound/loop for a long time, as is usual in music-production), and it physically hurts inside my right ear every time I try to produce music. So, my dream of becoming a real hands-up producer like you and the rest, has pretty much been completely shattered... So I'll buy this template of yours just to check out the way you do things, and thereby see how close or far away I was from your production-methods, as well as get a glimpse of what I COULD have been able to achieve, if I didn't have to quit making music... (You guys are sooo lucky to have your hearing intact! Never forget that! Because there's not really anything that can replace a hobby such as music-production, for melodic people like us...) Man, I'll tell you... The hours I've spent trying to reproduce DJ Manian's bulldozzer kick/Tune-up! kick... And you actually managed to reproduce it quite well, as you used that type of kick in the song, "DJ THT vs. Ced Tecknoboy - Tapion". I just LOVE that kick, as well as the pitchbass you used there! That kind of kick, combined with a pitchbass (which is a kick/bass-combination that I haven't heard Manian actually use, as he seems to never use that particular kick in combination with a pitchbass), was always how I wanted my own kick and bass to be. And you actually made it happen! Through your song, "DJ THT vs. Ced Tecknoboy - Tapion", I can hear what my vision would have sounded like. So, of course - I'm REALLY curious about how you actually managed to make that kick? Did you use Vengeance's Metrum-plugin or Avenger-plugin for it? Or did you make the kick some other way? Or did Manuel Reuter actually give you the kick, as a friendly gift? ;) Anyway, thanks for reading my story. PS: Is it possible for you to export the pitchbass-sample that you have in the hands-up template, as a neutral, long C-note without adding any pitch-bend/legato to it at all? That way I wouldn't have to worry about the tempo of the pitchbass, as I could just loop the note, and pitch-bend it myself, in a sampler. It would be like getting the bass directly from whatever synth you used to make it, without having to worry about the messed up speed of the sample when changing the project-tempo.

@@DJTHT Wow, thanks a lot, Cedric! You're not only a good producer/musician, but you're a good person as well! That's just awesome! And thanks for the encouraging words. And I really appreciate the discount, of course - but seriously, I WANT to pay full price for the template/sounds that you've probably spent years trying to perfect. I simply have too much respect for skilled producers like you, and I've been trying to replicate the professional sound of hands-up for too many years, that I don't feel like it's "right" for me to get that template/those sounds "handed to me on a silver platter" with a DISCOUNT on top of that. Do you understand what I mean? Quality-work DESERVES quality-pricing. So I respectfully decline your discount :) So I'll buy the template/sounds at their original price. By the way, what other products do you offer? (As you mentioned that the discount, which I respectfully decline, would have been valid on all of your products.) PS (regarding the kick): Ahaaa.... I see. I suspected that kick must have been from the Vengeance Essential Clubsounds sample-packs, or from Metrum, Avenger or Nexus. I personally messed around a lot with the Bassdrum Clubby 35 of VEC2 (which is a similar type of kick), as it had better bass than the Bassdrum Clubby 120 of VEC2 - but the Bassdrum Clubby 120 always sounded way cleaner. It was just such a pity it lacked the proper bass-frequencies (as you also noted), as I'm not skilled at making the bass of a kick sound right. Anyway, thanks a lot for the info! Now I know which kick-sample I SHOULD have been using all those years that I tried to make that kind of kick.

@@ULTIMATE_FREEDOM_FIGHTER I can totally understand your position and no problem if you want to pay the normal price. For the bass without pitchdown, it will of course be free, just send me an email. Currently you can find all my products on gumroad, here is the address: cesasamples.gumroad.com/ Since midnight today, my new pack is available, you will find 128 presets for Sylenth1 and 222 samples, as well as some templates for FL Studio and some mixing presets. For the kick, you can easily modify it by simply using the attack (basically, use a low pass filter (24db/oct) on the kick up to 150hz in linear phase, you'll only get the punch and remove the SUB) and overlaying a sub from another kick you like, or create one yourself with Metrum or KICK2 for example. You would have more control with KICK 2 but for handsup kicks, I always prefer to use Metrum. Otherwise you can also do it with a VST like SERUM (same process, but this time use a high pass filter and you won't have frequency conflicts for your overlays). Thanks man 😊

@@DJTHT Cool, I bought the template now. And I'll check out the other products on your website. And thanks for the sub-kick tutorial ;) I'll try that out for sure! However, I've tried doing that in the past, but I never got the top-layer to "glue" properly with the sub-layer from a different kick. But maybe I have just been setting the filter-cutoff at the wrong frequency, as you were very specific at 150Hz. And when I try doing it in Metrum instead (where I can use the sub-bass-oscillator instead of another kick-sample as the sub-bass), my sub-bass always seems to be too "hard" (too high frequency) or too "soft" (too low frequency). And what I think sounds like the "sweet spot" beteween those 2 extremes, never sounds "right" when I actually compare it to the "Tapion-kick" or Manian's Tune Up! kick. (Of course, I could just cut out/sample Manian's Tune Up! kick, but I don't feel like that's fair - as he obviously hasn't released that particular kick for anyone to use, so I don't think he would approve of anyone sampling that particular kick.) Anyway, I have a "weird" proposal for you: Can I pay you to make a kick for me in Metrum, and then just send me your saved preset-file for the finished kick, so that I can see how you made it? I just want to know what I'm doing wrong, as I can never get my sub-basses in Metrum to be "right". (I assume it wouldn't take much time for you to do so, so that's why I'm asking if this would be possible.) If so, then the kick I'd like you to make is a recreation of your aforementioned "Tapion-kick" - but by using the kick-sample "Partybomb 3" in Metrum, and the sub-bass-oscillator in Metrum. (I have both of the hands-up expansions for Metrum, so you can use the sub-bass-oscillator-presets from those expansions if you want to, in addition to the sub-bass-oscillator-presets from the factory presets, of course.)

I'm SO tempted.. Mainly for that pitchbass haha. It takes me a solid 3+ hours to get a decent mix on my pitchbasses for my hands up tracks!

Thanks of your interest ! You can’t go wrong with this one so … perfectly mixed exactly like in the original dj tht setup. You get also my lead and drums. In the project file, I have also write for every customers some plugins that i love the most about mixing like compressor, reverb, delay, limiter. If you want push your handsup sounds to the next level, I recommand you this template !

@@DJTHT I'm considering it!! How hard would it be to make the bass work in a different bpm? Would I need to bounce to audio and stretch the audio to work in a faster/slower BPM? Or is there a better way with Directwave? I can work around it regardless Side note; I'm confused how I'm subscribed to you haha considering you only have one other video on the channel. Did you do a rebranding or something? I don't recall watching your other video.

@@novafawks if you stretch it the sound of the bass will be bad, but if you need just the pitchbass on another bpm of your choice, you can contact me after having purchased the template with the same email that you put into your purchase, on [e-mail] and I will do the pitchbass in the bpm of your choice (1bpm of your choice) only if you want to work on another bpm than 144 ! The pitchbass will be in my case not stretched but very clean, because she will follow perfectly the bpm in my original project. I just need to change the bpm and re-sample it ! @@DJTHT No worries. As long as the bass isn't pitched TOO extreme, there shouldn't be many quality issues with restretching it. I do like to work in happy hardcore-ish tempos, so if I get it, I might ask it to be resampled to 158 bpm-ish. Also, I edited my reply above, but not sure if you saw it, so I'll re-post my other question: I'm confused how I'm subscribed to you haha considering you only have one other video on the channel. Did you do a rebranding or something? I don't recall watching your other video. ALSO, if you're going to sidechain, you should automate Fruity Balance knobs instead of within the mixer itself ;) Doing it within the mixer itself is **terrible** for mixing!

@@novafawks basicly my youtube was under dj tht official with some Others videos but i have change the name for my actual project (CESA). The others video are deleted im sorry. For the pitchbass it’s like you want but if you need it you know that you can have it. For the sidechain, i have always use this technics in the past in my original template. Don’t worry now I’m using kickstart2 or shaperbox2 (volumeshaper) in middi trigger 1 shot ! But i want just that every Fl Studio customers have the possibility to open the project without any external plugins. But I will releases a lot of others stuffs with external plugins incl. presets for reverb delay mixing etc etc ! So get in touch ! 🙃
