Cessna 152 was great plane to learn to fly in. Very forgiving and inherently stable. Stall speed so low you could almost do a vertical landing on a very windy day.

You learned in a plane with the tail #, G FLOP. I like that, it's like saying gravity failed. I learned in and flew one with a "B" on the tail...so I heard Bravo quite often, even if I did something wrong. I notice you sit in the left seat in England and also land left of the center-line. I used to land right of it, since I live in the US. Good flying and vids, tks.

Yes, you are supposed to have full elevator back pressure while taxying on soft surfaces. But at such a low speed, the control effectiveness is extremely minimal and will not aid the pilot in taxying.

+Rob Germon Your right about holding the elevators fully back during taxi (to avoid prop strike if aircraft hits hole) but these guys are only learners. I'm still a learner with 10 hours dual. But I'm already up to my solo lesson, one of the quickest my club has ever had and the youngest, I'm still 15 doing the solo on my 16th birthday (minimum age). But my point is everybody learns at different speeds and it takes some people a long time and some people very quick. Just keep that in mind next time you rip into someone.

G-FLIP pilot is not holding back pressure when taxing on grass.... Take a look at video time 0:57... No elevator back and the aircraft is really porpoising. Bad skills there...

i see nothing wrong with any landings.....its always better to have the altitude....one can always go around. these new insructors have the students make long finals....what happens when loss of power on a long final? i will stick to short finals..and come in a little bit high and hot. i fly the airplane..it dont fly me. i cannot understand why these new cfi's have students doing very long finals. its not a good idea in a single engine airplane at any time. jmo

I presume its to do with giving the student time to set the aircraft up for landing and when familiar then will approach on standard finals.

Do people ever teach how NOT to land too fast anymore? I mean come on if the runways wet good luck controlling the aircraft that's going that fast on the ground. Just let gravity do the pulling and let the plane glide back to the earth, and also using that time machine of yours to slow your descent.
