CFA level 1 results are in! Was 3rd time a charm?

Hey Kate, congratulations on passing L1! Heck I would've re evaluated myself and whether i wanted to do this course if i didn't clear it the 2nd time. I also cleared L1 this time after failing in August 22. I remember watching your failed 2nd attempt and i have to say you're extremely brave to put up videos like that, as people don't normally post videos of their experiences after failing one. So glad you persevered and stuck through, it gave me also some hope that I'm not alone in this, a lot of people struggle with clearing this exam. Wishing you all the best for L2!

hey, thank you so much for your words, it means a lot. It was tough to admit failures but i feel like there are a lot of people who just show their succeses and its not how real world is. So knowing that maybe my videos would help at least 1 person not to lose hope gives me the energy. Well done with your exams and good luck for the next ones!

Yes it can be difficult in the moment as the feelings of sadness when you fail outweigh everything. Thats why i never make the decisions on the day and let myself to have some time to calm down and think clearly

hey! on im sorry to hear that! it really depends on you i think, if you think that cfa is what you want to achieve then you shoud keep going. I have heard of people who would do 6/7 attempts and then being happy in their carrers.

Hii, I run small stock trading firm. I manage share portfolio of 10-15 clients out of which 5 are my distant relatives. I advise them in trading and pick stocks. Sometimes they listen to my advise, sometimes they donot. Collective portfolio size is around 50,000 dollars. Also I do this work part time, As I have full time job else where which is related to accounting work. Whether above experience will fulfill relevant work experience requirement for charter??
