Hey JD. Good stuff. I think the Texas question was not necessarily just about football. The opinion in the Big 12 was that whatever Texas wanted, Texas got. That is, they threw their weight around. I think that most Texas fans are happy to be in a room full of big boys and understand championships won't come easy. In any sport. UT won championships in 15 of 20 sports this year. That wont happen next year.

In reference to Texas “running the conference” I think it has less to do with what goes down on the field and more about what goes on behind closed doors. Texas’ endowment is more than all of the other SEC teams combined.

25 year old system has dominated this decade! The decade that has been the hardest decade EVER to coach. Listen to what ALL the coaches are saying about the last 4 years of coaching college football , even the GOAT that just retired. Oh yea Ga is the only program in the country that has averaged over 40+ points a game the past 3 years in a row!!

Kirby is good at what he does, I’m not convinced he will know how to evolve with the game, but running Sabans System he’s got that down. I think Kalen Debour is seriously about to take over the SEC.. once that happens the recruiting for UGA will fall off and things will change rapidly for Kirby. The more you win the harder people try to knock you off.

There are cracks forming already for Kirby, the record he has is misleading, too many easy games in the East, so when he has done what Alabama had to do in the west, plus Bama had like 5-6 teams who think they are a rivals to bama and we don’t really see that team that way.. so that also becomes an issue. The opponent is playing with their Super Bowl effort against Bama and Georgia has risen in the shadows, I need to see UGA play tough games back to back to back in NOV injuries happen more frequently against the power teams from the West.

Thank you for saying Texas fans don't think they're about to run the SEC. Texas fans are very realistic, except maybe 10 percent of the fan base. They lost to Bama by 1 point in '22 and beat them by 10 in '23. just saying..

Every single coach and player from the SEC interviewed so far was ask the same thing by both TX and OU media what to expect in the SEC, they all answered the same thing. You can’t take a week off, yet TX fans don’t understand that…. OU seems to understand it OU fans are blending in waiting to play, see what it’s about. That’s why all you hear is TX this and TX that…. They won’t keep their mouth shut and are putting their cart before the horse before playing the first conference game. When we all saw year after year. The same rhetoric and TX step on their d$&ks to teams they had no business in a weak conference. Why do you think everywhere you look you see OU fans telling you “thanks for taking the heat” I’ve had countless TX fans all summer tell me, TN, LSU, Ole Miss, Mizzou ain’t shit just another team, they deserved respect like everyone else just for walking in the door, SEC is going to be no different than playing their normal weekly games, we are all stacked at the top and no competition outside that, I’ve heard it all. I’ve also argued every single time that they have to play like a rivalry every week in the conference, that the crowd nearly every week is louder than even their most their loudest games and every time I’ve been told I was full of shit….. yet when every SEC player outside TX and coach has been asked so far the same questions they got the same answers I just stated. Every single UGA player interviewed today Carson Beck, Mykel Williams and Malaki Starks all asked what was your most memorable game last season all 3 stated Auburn bc of the crowd and the competition. All 3 asked about the game against Bama, Ole Miss and TX on the road, all three answered the same…..looking forward to the competition but wasn’t worried about it until the week before, right now it’s Clemson.
