Respectfully, Will Howard isn't on that level and coach Day knows that, so he's calling plays to protect his QB. Oregon turned it over twice against OSU, but the defense was aggressive and talented enough to keep Will Howard under wraps and were able to clutch up on offense and close out on defense. You want to beat OSU, you have to have a near-perfect game.

This was only a game because of how much Indiana overachieved in year one with a new coach. Lots of credit to them. They didn't have 5 star talent and they were on the road. To be honest, if it wasn't for the punt fumble breaking open the momentum for OSU this game would've been closer. They are well coached.

That muffed punt is an excuse it was never close. Buckeyes were shooting themselves in the foot with a slow start again and bonehead mistakes. Indianas defense is scrappy but whenever the buckeyes wanted to move the ball they did

I honestly think a rule change in college and NFL should be that if a ball is thrown accurately and a receiver doesn't catch it shouldn't be an interception on the QB

Sad that the Hoosiers special teams crumbled, and created this blowout. But the really disappointing thing was how IU didn't adjust to the blitzes of OSU. They were getting all sorts of blind-side pressure that rattled Kurtis Rourke. I expected some kind of adjustment from Cigneti, but it never happened. People on here need to keep in mind that on-the-road at OSU is the toughest game in college football. There's a lot of teams in the top 12 that would have this kind of result.

Indiana looked like they could beat Ohio State for exactly 1 drive. Also Ohio State's offense is still so clearly built around trying to mitigate Will Howard's deficiencies. Watching Ohio State's offense is like watching an elite surrounding cast playing with a backup QB. Will Howard is basically what critics tried to claim Bo Nicks was.
