I hope an official of this tournament did something to penalize this man’s behavior. He tried to get the kid to call a draw. When that didn’t work, he tried to cheat. When the little boy pushed the button to call an official because the man wouldn’t move his piece back, the man twice pushed the button off. Then when the boy wins, it looks like he threatens the boy. Threats and cheating should have banning consequences.

I finally figured it out what happened. At first, efimov made an 1)illegal move. That's ok. It isn't counted. 2) then he picked up his queen so he had to move it 3) but instead, he returned it and moved his king. 4) then the boy called the arbitter 5) then that part of the video was cut out 6) then the arbitter obviously agreed that the man had to continue the game with a queen move, and that is what the position was when the game was resumed. 7) queens were then exchanged, not to efimovs liking, as it gave the boy a winning endgame. BUT it shiuldn't have needed an arbitter to police it!
@שמעון-ק2ח Жыл бұрын
I actually modify what i think might have happened in one detail, that efimov himself might have given in to the boy after saying "what's your problem, boy?", and "you don't need the arbitter for this, we can sort it out ourselves"!
