I’ll be honest. I’m a DIE HARD DAWG fan. I follow every aspect of the program. And the game we played against OSU, was one of our worst performances all year except for the 4th quarter. We found a way to win. Which is what elite teams do. That said; imo OSU was the 2nd best team in America. Really talented. But Ryan Day has made a ton of excuses. We lost the 17 natty because Tyler Simmons was called offside when you can look down the line and clearly see he wasn’t. Point is; games aren’t won or lost in the final seconds. The body of work is what puts you in that spot.

Georgia put in the backups after 52, and then TCU couldnt even just stop the run against the backups. Bittersweet for OSU. The only team to scare UGA all year, and they honestly should/could have won. After the questions if OSU was fake this year, that game was impressive. Oppositely oh my god if OSU just held out, I doubt TCU would have fared much better against OSU.

TCU only had 9 first downs the whole game. Our kicker scored 8 points in the first half. We scored 9 touchdowns in the game. Also, TCU had only 3 more total offensive yards (188) than punting yards (185).

One thing I love, under Kirby we have never had back to back bad games. And since his second year after a bad game Kirbys next opponent gets absolutely obliterated. The other thing, I almost feel bad. Our 4th string 18 year old true freshman back got 2 tds and pulled because kirbys was trying to let off the gas and not run the score. Then our 5th string walk on Jr matched his career carries, gashed theor starting D up for 6 ypc. Imagine you walked on 3 years ago, and now you get to run the ball for the last 5 minutes of a national title game...
