I had Hodgkins Lymphoma at 25, it lead to my full conversion to Catholicism, I am so grateful even though it was difficult. God was with me all the way. My life changed entirely and I’m now a wife and a mother at age 30. Glory to Jesus Christ!

Thank you for this. Im 27 with 3 small kids. I have an irrational fear of cancer. I have lost several close family members to cancer and my mom had surgery to remove pre-cancerous growths. Every time I see a little bruise or have a headache, I immediately think it's cancer. It's something I must work through, but the grace you all talked about this with is very encouraging to me. Thank you.

I had Hodgkins Lymphoma when I was 23 years old. After six months of chemo, I was and have been cancer free since… I’m now 45. It was a very difficult road but I would never change it … God blessed me in so many ways through my cancer journey. And he even blessed me and my husband with three boys … which doctors were concerned about my fertility. Cancer changes things and it is never easy, but God really does bring wonderful blessings through it, if you trust in Him!

Wow what a treat :) incredible conversation, thank you to the both of you. All glory to God. This is a difficult topic for many and I'm happy that you two managed to amplify the love of our Lord in what it means to be alive, and what it means to confront our inevitable death. Side note, I'm going to tell my wife about this conversation, she needs to watch it too. So honey, if you're reading this, I ate the last biscuit, yes it was me.

Someone has told my husband to give a woman his chair, he had just had surgery and couldn’t stand long, this was like the 8th surgery after an accident, he had a 6 inch pocket in his leg still. I’m careful about that now, most men and young men give up their seats without being told.

Well that’s obviously an exception & he could simply said mommy he has medical issues, but I think it’s still good to challenge other young men 😊

@ most men aren’t inclined to talk back like that, even nicely, and he does naturally want to be chivalrous so he just gave it up without thinking. I wasn’t attacking you, or saying what you did was wrong, just sharing my experience. I’ve taken notice now and most men and boys know and are glad to give up seats. Even you hesitated in the telling of your story.
