I’ll be 100% honest right meow. I had debated taking this down. I didn’t expect it to blow up the way it did. And yesterday, some of the negativity surrounding this was really getting to me. I talked to some of the other Partners In Crime members with MOB and they really helped, and reminded me not to let others invalidate how something made me feel. As much as I love Poppy Playtime, it was your beautifully crafted song dedicated to something I do care about that drove me to tears. And I wanted to share that. Music is a very important part of who I am as a person and I express myself through it. So thanks for this song, and thanks for leaving a comment cause this completely made my day. This song makes Poppy playtime complete for me, it makes me feel bad for every single toy in the factory. I think this also shows why Kissy tried to attack us the second encounter. By being in the Playcare, Kissy was reminded of her days with Huggy and then she realized that the player killed him, so she got frustrated with us but calmed down after Poppy stopped her. That would also be why Poppy said "This place gets to her"

13:59 looking at Catnaps stance, and how his tail and ears are positioned normally when a cats ears are pointed down it means angry and/or fearful and the way his back is arched and tail lashing is lashing about is also a sign of hositilty or anxiety, not counting the look on his face which while yes his eyes are always large and in a smile, the way his eyes are showing just looks like pure fear. which kind of makes playing this game hurt more because not only does the lore hint that kids were expereimented on, but it also shows that, almost everybody including catnap and possibly the Prototype weren't always like how we see them in the game. they were children and possibly really good people. and they had basically their entire future and hopes ripped from them. the antagonists (besides mommy longlegs maybe) were children, and who knows, the toys that were adults were probably parents or had a family outside of work. and it just got ripped from them just to be a little experiment that could be thrown away. so when your dealing with a final boss or having to fight one of the toys... theirs a 9/10 chance your are fighting and possibly going to have to kill a kid. and its just gut wrenching and scary ate the same time.

Mommy long legs was also a child (Marie Payne) who we hear about in chapter 2 (documents) and chapter 3 (VHS) as the kid that was having the vivid nightmare. So seeing her getting torn and crushed up by the grinder just hurt to see. 😫😭

We could see it as orphans waiting to find a family (wanting to heal through waiting in the orphanage for families to adopt them) but their nightmares became real as they were turned into the toys, doomed to be monstrous and alone forever. That’s my take on this.

I don't fault you for your tears. Though it is a fictional horror video game, it does deal with hard subject matter involving harm to children. I mean anybody would get emotional over that. Its one thing when its grown adults going through the horror, but children are innocent beings that should be cared for, not harmed and treated like garbage. In the game of course, we're trying to survive against these "toys" which means they are seen as the enemy, since they mostly are trying to kill you, but this music video conveys that the "toys" are victims too. Innocent children whose bodies were thrown away over some mad scientist zealotry. They didn't ask for that.

This was just an amazing and well written song and was very sad as well. Seeing the toys in their happy days such as Kissy Missy and Huggy Wuggy, Mommy Long Legs and Bunzo Bunny, Catnap and the Prototype was just heartbreaking now knowing the fate most of them suffered. This makes me so hype for the future of Poppy Playtime especially since I think some secrets in it could be for future chapters.

And more reactions need to be like this tbh. Music should evoke emotions in people whether those emotions are happiness, sadness, joy, hurt, comfort, etc. And where the music comes from shouldn't matter. There's a song from Pokemon that I can barely listen to without crying. But the song's beautiful and emotional and those emotions just get to me. And Sleep Well took a couple listens to grow on me, but man personally the "Artificial facade from the fraud of a god" lines and the chanting of "Freedom, Freedom, Freedom!" give me chills. Absolutely hauntingly beautiful song!

I've been a fan of this game ever since it came out, and all I remember CG5 making for Poppy Playtime was Poison Blooms (Which is still a great song) and seeing this on my for you page made me so happy. I couldn't pass this up, and I watched it. I started crying as soon as I saw the scene with CatNap exhaling the red sleeping gas. And at 16:46 Tibbers didn't sing poorly! I will say, I love how this game treats inspiration from other games. Many have said that it is a copycat of BATIM and FNAF. Here's the thing though, just because something takes inspiration on something doesn’t make it a copycat, its when something copies the formula and main aspects is when it becomes a copycat. I will admit, chapter one seemed a bit like BATIM Chapter 1, but the fact that Huggu doesn’t just appear at the end, but appears throughout and then the vent chase gives you something new. Chapter 2 seemed more like a BATIM Chapter 3 thing, and displayed Orphans getting put into the toys. This made the company seem like Fazbear Entertainment so it now seems like a bit of a copycat at Chapter 2. Then we get to Chapter 3. This is pure nightmare fuel but makes CatNap a legitimate villain. And I love that instead of the company luring children, its revealed and shown that they all went on a killing spree killing children in the process. Its horrifying, but also shows once and for all, Poppy Playtime is it's own thing, and now that the developers have more experience, they are getting better and better at making original stuff.

The lore is hard for me to just like, actually take in. I get the concept, like, these toys are CHILDREN. It’s difficult for me to actually wrap this concept around my head and actually sit there and take in the fact that, these toys, they were HUMAN. They were CHILDREN. I don't know the reasons for certain, but I'm assuming from your response to CG5's pinned comment that people were giving you crap for daring to show emotions online(especially while being a masculine presenting person). If that's the case then I hope you know that it's 100% okay to feel your feelings and it makes you no less of a person and it in no way affects your masculinity in the slightest. If anything, I think being open with your emotions like this is a prime example of the kind of masculinity I as a transman aspire to be.
