yeah that was the first thing that I noticed when I saw the final render. I think he could have at least made the character pulling something or made the wind more intense so that they are fighting the wind... The light flowing leaves make no sense, and the cloth is going way to crazy to pass as even realisticish.

I do everything by hand. For me, this is at least a piece of real art in this digital mess, which I hate, I'm always looking for something closer to real art. I just create a library of patterns that I reuse and I don't have to do it over and over again. So I congratulate you that you also do things with your hands and not various preliminary projections.

the main problem is hardware. you can make something that looks practically indistinguishable from reality but to animate it for 5 seconds will take you weeks.

@@alr2305 It worked. The only problem was it loads a little slow. It's doable if your only using assets that are not too heavy and only messing around the blueprints. The laptop just gets all laggy and the temp was off the roof when I tried to put the good stuffs.

@@p0intblank597 AMD gpu's are not as good in rendering as Nvidia's but they are slowly getting better software support I believe. You can try but but don't expect higher performance than the exact same level of Nvidia's gpu selection.

I loved this video! I really wish I was able to afford a pc because i really want to write a book/book series and create my world and be able to see it as i’m writing. I love beautiful fantasy things especially when it involves bioluminescent plants and just anything to do with that. I Dunno maybe as environment artist because character animation doesn't look that good in some places her movement seems kinda stiff and weird look at her arms twitch in some moments everybody knows this was made in 3 days but I think character movement animation could be better because that doesn't look like an person struggling on flat terrain she looks more like she's going up hill than person struggling going through the wind and that arms twitching from side to side looks kinda weird. It's just opinion tho.

You know, considering the way that character is moving I would have added a medium breeze , just as much as it takes to kinda kneel in that way, or maybe I would have made the ground a little more steep , just to compensate P.s I have no competence in 3d modelling or animation (yet) these are just suggestions/ideas not critics XD

@@santicheeks1106 I think his grass models are meshes and they aren’t procedurally generated. He is just placing them through a particle system, so if you applied noise to the weight painting, it wouldn’t make the grass blades move but would actually make the roots of the blades move which would look terrible. I’m still learning so I might be wrong, but I think the only way around the stationary grass is to render either cloth or hair simulations on the grass blades

turned out amazing wow!!! the only thing that you could've done more is maybe given wind opposite direction to the character, so as to it makes sense why the character is walking bending forward

It's so good. I just want to point out one thing: The character's animation seems like walking against the wind, struggling but the scene is clear.
