No. He was not unique, there was another robot with the same purpose but more efficient, that was the problem in the first place. And these are robots, people aren't gonna keep him just because he is an old friend, if they have a better one they wouldn't need this' ones services anymore. I think the moral would be: try improving yourself but in your domain, don't try to be better than people with totally different skills than you. He should have tried being better than the blue one not copy all of them.

The desire to be better and stronger, the more you take a sip of it the more addicted you become until you realized at the end of the day too much can also destroy you. Remember no matter how simple everything still has its own purpose, you just need to get better at doing it (Though some people are born more talented in that aspect). You don't need to follow others just to show more of your worth. Be yourself and don't let others affect your choices in life.

The red robot In fact, might actually be a special one. From my observation, There are several times it was shown that Redy have something different from other. 3:16 He is the only one shown to using design board function, 2:20 he was the only one who can operate the transfer platform and he is clearly showed curiosity, creativity, and desire of self development, while the other robots seem to have enough intelligence only to follow the program and focus on the job. At near the end of the flim, when the Ultimate Redy crashed down, it looked like the big robot only complete 70% in progress but when he was reassembled the robot is already finished. It means that the other robots take time to complete their work FIRST and THEN come back to help him. We known for fact that they didn't fix him because they just wanted to help, they only programmed to complete thier task. His disappearance 'could' somehow hinder the process.

I think the moral of the story is: Their are people that are people more talented then you, but that doesn't make you any less important, & them more important. Love yourself.

@@Vit-Pokorny Not really, the red bot was the only one that changed itself. It might have been intended as a bot to fill in any spot as it was designed to be changeable.

I love old things, this video is about a group of robots building a bigger robot, but the First one wanted to do all by himself, and the upgrades he got was from tinier robots, basically a loop, robots make bigger robots that make bigger robots and Just like that it goes on and on! Loved it

Wow, this film was amazing, the quality looked like freaking real life! Man, the skill you guys have baffles me. Please keep making videos like this! These are better quality than Pixar them freaking selves, though it may be short it's awesome! This makes me wonder what future animated movies will look likes, given the fact that people like you guys make short films that already look super similar to real life.

Jealousy is a fickle emotion. It fills the mind with anxiety and lust. Overcoming you only when witnessing another do something better than you. It charges you with a certain desperation. A need to be important. A “desire” if you will. Something you wouldn’t think to achieve but want it anyways. Just to spite others. This robot is a good example of this desire. He sees his comrades do things that seem incredible and exciting and it fills him desire to do those things. He learns to upgrade himself and become stronger and better at all things. But I’m doing so he becomes arrogant and envious. The importance overtakes him and he tries to do it all. But he realizes that he can’t be good at everything no matter how many times he upgrades himself. (Literally) Falling apart in process. But he comes understand he doesn’t have to be important, or good, or even amazing. He just has to do what he’s good at. That is the true life lesson. Do not be jealous of others when what your doing is good and important enough for everyone. In fact he was the role model the whole time.
