I found myself being like this. Last year Facebook congratulated me for being on it for 11 years... that really hit me hard. So in January I deleted it, what a struggle that addiction was. In the end I ended up deleting all my social media accounts and youtube is the only place I’ll throw out a random comment from time to time like this one. And on most days my phone lives in my pocket not infront of my face. Its hard, its an addiction, but its helped me enjoy life more instead of “sharing” it, but not really living it.

Story: The father comes home from a long day of God knows what, looking on his phone. His daughter comes up to him to ask him to play but he heads to the dining room while glued to the phone. She shows him she got a perfect score on a math test, but he didn’t look up. In the living room she showed him a picture she drew, and he once again didn’t look. Suddenly his phone started running out of battery, but this actually meant he was running out of time to be with his daughter. The next thing he knows, his daughter is a grown adult, leaving him.

I just turned 18, and this video is very relatable to my relationship with my mother as I was growing up. She was always working hard and long hours just to be stressed and ignore us when she got home, or frequently lash out at us. I know my mom tried her best to provide a good life for my family and I, but for the majority of the time she was not there/ present. Financially she did her best to provide, but rarely emotionally. I just wish that she was more emotionally there for me as a child when I needed a parent :)

SPARTAN085B my parents aren’t millennials and they do this shit to me now and I’m 17, lol. They’ve done this since iPhones came out and such so 🤷♀️ not only millennials

Dude my dad,isn't a millenial but all he does is be on his phone and as a millenial I find this kinda insulting
@alexisgatewood12356 жыл бұрын
Annalise Estey right? Like I’m on my phone half as much as they are and in schools, especially where I am, we rely heavily on technology. Like, everything is on chrome books next year and I don’t even use them as much as suggested now and I won’t then. I know how it feels to be ignored by a parent in their mid-40’s because of their phones. So does my sister who is a millennial. People gotta stop hating on them so much because it’s the older generations too

"Your life is like a battery. Some viewers are so focus on the internet to socialize, to find love or anything else. They forgot they have someone to socialize and love at home. Eventually, the battery will eventually die, they didn't spend time on their loveones and I bet they regret it... A phone has many changes to start over.... but your battery can't charge"

This is so sad , I had Phone addiction too, so I have online classes and they give us assignments to do, so whenever I will sit to study I would get distracted by my phone and end up spending like 5-6 hours on it, and I would never study and then our teacher asked all of us to make a PDF of our notebook and send it to her, I had no idea what will I do now there were like so many chapters already completed, l tried my best to complete them but I couldn't and I payed
