Check out this great short 1080 HD version of the short film called "Resonance", a collaborative project with contributions from over 30 independent visual and audio designers/studios. The aim was to explore the relationship between geometry and audio in unique ways.
Special thanks to Clear Cut Pictures who did a great job with the audio mastering and also RenderRocket who gave us access to their awesome renderfarm.

Lying on my lazy back, with tablet in hand, day off work... I like this series, which both highlights the state of today's collaborative creatives, and echoes a tendency to stick the CGI focus in the centre of the fame.

The 9:05 video has great synergy between its audio and graphical tracks. Really gave the animation a sense of inertia with the audio.

3:20, 5:18, 8:10 and 7:16 are my personal favorites; the first three because they seem like scenes in a larger story, the fourth because of the music.

Wow! i am an artist of sorts and a lover of sound. I have never really done well with geometry, but what all this wonderful artists of visual and sound have brought a depth of soul and life to what would seem just angles and lines. The symbiotic relationship with visual and sound is pure gold. Millions of years head of our time. Thank you for your efforts and commitment. Beautiful. Earl

How did it work? Did the sound designers make the sound, and the visual artist work based on that? Or vice versa, and the visual artist made something and the sound design came up with the sound? Or was it completely generative and algorithms did the work

these are all wonderful. I was expecting the visuals to be distinctly geometrical so the blobby forms featured in a couple of the shorts threw me off a bit. The two that I felt most drawn to were the onyx bird and the fragmented cube. Because of the polished surfaces that reflected light.
