love how everything in the house is two, like the painting of the two brains connected to the same heart, the 2 connected clocks, the 2 connected birds, the connected skulls, the connected deer heads, the little statue of them, the connected lamps, the double teapot, the double fruit basket, ... amazing. And then of course the mirror stuff and reflection in the window is perfect !!
This is the most gorgeous style of animation I have ever seen

Lock in a room with no light to share, Bleak and sad that no soul would care. But came to arrive the musical play, Who dance the strings to brighten your day. Listen and hear the sound it would form, No hearts would break, no soul be torn. For many, but many, the few would mold, On how such lovely, the music be told.

Atsuka Wolfcat Super late, but I think they're also modeled off of those porcelain figurines. Which is why as their fingers touch the keys you hear a clinking sound. Another animation I like is called Silver Screen Romance. The main character has that porcelain quality as well, and they make it rather obvious.

+JiaXuan Han There's references like that all over this film! The statue of the two girls at 0:38 along with the painting of two brains connected to one heart and the conjoined birds in the bell jar. There's the clock with two faces, the lamp with two bulbs, the two bowls on one stand, the teapot with two spouts, the pitcher with two mouths... There's even a conjoined skull at 2:22. They're all over the background, scattered on the shelves. The architecture could even be a symbol: two windows into one room.

Wow. How did you notice all these? These reference made me appreciate the film even more.

I feel like the more protective one usually controls the legs. Or do they each control one? Or does it switch between the two... Gah I'm done this is so pretty and I have to finish this comment so I can play the video 😂
@aliena288987 жыл бұрын
There's a case in real life of conjoined twins who share legs and are capable of walking and driving and stuff and each one has control of one leg, but they can synchronize because they have been toghether like this since birth. So it's probably like this. Or maybe only ine has control of the legs. The only thing sure is that they don't switch, that would be impossible (I think).

+Zizygene Okay first of all your more likely to be twelve as you devote your time to playing a kids game. Second of all putting a happy face in your text does actually seem to make you more innocent. And third of all being inspired doesn't mean its not original. If cotton candy inspired you to draw a girl with cotton candy hair it doesnt mean it not original. Like WTF is wrong with you??? She just saw a similar feature and thats why she said it. P.S Whats the song in your intro called?

You're right, I only just read the desc and that is strange...they are so obviously two people fused at the hip. I suppose maybe people have different opinions on this topic?
@bother62548 жыл бұрын
Yes they are Siamese twins. It is a rare condition in when twins' cells don't split completely and their bodies are fused together. Most commonly, the condition is seen with people having one set of legs but two upper bodies, as seen in the video.

Maybe it is just about one girl though. Yes there are _two_ twins, but maybe only _one_ of them is the main character? It says it's about the "healing" power of music. It shows that the twin with her hair down is more self conscious, and the one with her hair up is the protective one. So really the only one who needs to be healed is the one twin. So in the end, it really is just about one girl, the other twin is just a side character who helps her, along with the man, to heal and regain some confidence in herself. It's very clear since at the beginning the first one to be introduced is the twin with her hair down.

References to 2 Heads.. *I ALSO HAVE A THEORY AT THE END* 1:31/2:16 Clock with two faces 0:27 Deer with two heads 0:7 (Could be a reference) Two windows in one room 0:35 Two brains connected to ONE heart 0:35 Two connected birds in the jar 0:35 TWO Sculptures of the connected twins 2:01/2:11 TeaPot with two spouts 2:20 Two spouts for the two water pitchers 2:20 Two connected skulls I also have a theory! I think there's only one girl, the girl with the flower on her waist, or her hair up. She signifies that she is wearing a flower, and that might mean she's the main one. Maybe she's isolating herself because of her constant sadness? The one who has her hair down can often be seen expressing sadness that she's like that way. She cries, gets depressed and in only 3:00. Alas, I can't really explain all the references around the two heads only that she feels like she has two - completely different - personalities.
@Telkka8 жыл бұрын
KateCzajkowski I feel like it's the other way around, that the actual girl is the one with her hair down, and the one with her hair up is really just inside her head, encouraging her to keep going. When the man is walking away, he only turns back when the girl with her hair down starts playing, as if he could only hear her. Just a theory though of course

This is one of a hell warming animation. these girls have a beautiful heart which has been reflected in their art because I believe that art is born from hearts therefore it can be happy, sad, angry, creepy and beautiful. Art is alive, it lives everywhere it is just that some people do not see it. e.g. nature is a perfect pies of art, man made colours, the universe, buildings, street performance, street art, children art ...etc. but people will just see the beauty of art according to their personalties, some may just like what I call " rigid" art and that is totally fine by me because we do not see things as they are we see them as who we are.
