I would argue "one person, one vote" does not exist in any western country that I'm aware of, certainly not in the US. American citizens do not elect the president.

Democracy is not one person one vote. Democracy is a system of the people, for the people and by the people. So China is more democratic than most Western world.

I whole-heartedly agree. The US’s system of government is tailored to serving corporations, not the people, right from the start, where the electorate has to choose between people selected by the elites. ‘Freedom’ refers to unrelenting capitalism, not freedom of the people to have universal health care, a safe environment (no guns, drugs, etc), cheap education, no homelessness and poverty, good infrastructure and so on. These are not even close to being universal concepts in the US.
