Thank you for the low cost high quality EVs.. For those manufacturers who complain about over capacity, they must be producing low quality expensive cars which have no competitive advantage. In this "free market", they will be eliminated.

And there is the real reason the US and Canada put 100% tariff on those EV's. We can't compete and it's not because of unfair subsidies like they say it is we are years behind in technology and form and function . If it was the unfair subsidies ,why is it okay for us to give billions of dollars to your domestic manufacturing but not the Chinese. It's all gaslighting

Probably a stupid question but I still dont get this argument with the subsidies. What is the West claiming that China is doing wrong. It is probably some BS, but I wanted to understand the argument. Maybe it does not even make sense.

Your tax dollars in the form of subsidies are simply going into bonuses and the pockets of auto execs and shareholders !

Chinese subsidies goes to support infrastructure not directly to manufacturer or car company.

I would love a Chinese EV. All I can look at are crappy, over priced, inefficient, poor preforming, unreliable.......did I mention over priced? American junk EV.

China’s EV development is incredibly impressive. All countries have subsidy in the form of tax incentives rebates etc. subsidy is not a crime. It is a blessing to boost businesses affordability to global consumers 👍❤️🇨🇳

Our tax payer dollars go to subsidize the Japanese auto and American auto makers in Canada. Why couldn't the Canadian government reduce our taxes and look for other ways like what China is doing to build a auto industry. Chinese citizens pay very little personal income tax and get cheap quality EV. Something is wrong with the hegemony USA method with lots of wasteful spending .

No, you can't. You have to keep the politicians, overpaid auto workers, and the stockholders keep their money flowing in their pockets, while you have to pay 100% tariff to your government.

In China, the government is providing a trade in subsidy to purchase the small car you mentioned from a soon to be scrapped car, which costs approximately $3000, making it a very cost-effective option.

@@nasim3987 Yeah, that's exactly what I'm referring to. Tesla's self-driving cars are extremely dangerous and make mistakes on the regular, to the point of being recalled. They don't even use lidar, just cameras. They even have a sandal where the auto pilot turns off just before a crash so that the company can blame you entirely and get off scott free.

This is what can happen when a country decides to go the way of the future.And don't lets get carried away about democracy and non democracy.We have the freedom to vote and our leaders do the opposite what they promised us before the election.This can last for many years and the damage we can see now in the UK.Innovation peace and a good standard of living for all.Isn't that what we all want?

You have no choice, you can only choose one from two, but you know that neither of these two people represents your interests. A complete performance that deceives anyone who believes they have the right to vote.
