I dismantle same Sony mechanism w/o using your L-shape screw driver, just take out the tray, and its easy, you can even take out the capstan section without dismantling its cover and take out it whole by just taking out the 4 screw and two pinch roller, messy dismantling work.

@@theanalogguy1988 i only saw a simple belt replacement in all tape decks in all videos in KZbin, but nobody knows how to repair an auto reverse mechanism which has issues of noise on reverse mode. You have not even repair a Sony TC-222 tray jammed caused by broken micro detector switch that caused the tape tray not to open close? I'll show you in some other time how to do it.

@@omarc.antocan9774 great show me how to do it, and in some cases the autoreverse isn’t working properly, instead of playing the other side then it’s just stop by itself

ソニーの電動開閉扉のデッキはメンテナンス性が悪いですね。 しかも、純正部品のモードベルトの質が悪く伸び易く溶解し易いですし。 この動画では見られませんでしたが、溶解してあちこちに付着して居るケースも多いです。 そうなるともう全部を分解するしか無いですしね。
