Very clear instructions. I didn’t know until now that the Chabad knot is different that the Sefard knot. Thank you for this explanation.

I'd be really curious if this knot was developed at some point by Chabad, or if it was a knot used by lots of people in that part of the Russian Empire.

Sholom, all other videos were dreying a kop. With yours, the knot was done within 5 minutes of watching your instructions! Shkoiach from your old neighbour in Canada. I am using 13mm Landau retzuos from Israel, "mehudar" but I am a little surprised that a retzuah with so much plastic on it and so little leather can be considered superior to a full-grain leather. They must have sat somewhere there for years (no one buys 13mm for some reason), I had to condition with old formula Lexol for several days to replenish the shpalt.

The reason people avoid 13mm is because it will narrow faster then standard 15mm retzuah as they are worn they stretch and lechatchilah they need to be at least 11mm wide... More on this will be explained in upcoming video all about Retzuos so subscribe and stay tuned!
