Thank you so much. Mine have on the titura a small mark where the bait shel rosh opens, got scared and asked for them to be repaired and the parashiot to be checked but now I see is not that terrible. Hope I can fix them soon and lehitpalel on them without a doubt. Your videos are great, shkoyach.

God doesn’t care. One think our Rabbis always get wrong is things aren’t literal in all manners, it’s what’s in ur heart. He sees this. If a homeless made makes Tefillin from cardboard and prays, he will be heard.

The Yad or the Rosh? The yad it just flows better that way... the Rosh I would assume you could do either way I'm not aware of any Halacha regarding which side to wrap first.

Thank you. I was thinking about both. I know that although we should put on our right shoe first, but if there are laces we should tie the left shoe firstly because of tefillin. Therefore I thought there might be a Halacha.

I have tried to find out in what order the parshios are inside, but with no luck. Do you have any info on them? Do you know if they have been opened yet?

@@GLOCKDPLUSFlowriders Most of the Qumran tefillin are the same parshios we use today. I am reading that some are according to Rashi. Others according to Rabbenu Tam. So the dispute appears to be very ancient.

How can that Sofer be expected to work with all that noise? My great-grandfather, whom I was named after, was a part-time Sofer (and teacher). I did not inherit the skill nor the patience.

New Sifrei Torahs are written on the thinnest skin and you have to be so careful lest they rip and get crushed by the lip of the table when they are being lifted for Hagbah.. I have also found (I have been a professional Torah reader for 38 years) that the shinny ink used can reflect lights above and the glare makes it difficult to see the words! Non the less, Mazal tov!
