@@alicebenson8607 I'm not sure how it works every where, but in my area incarcerated people cannot communicate with other incarcerated people in any way. My BIL was in jail, then prison and he would send us letters to mail to his girlfriend who was in jail. Outgoing mail isn't checked or read, incoming mail is. We didn't get in any trouble, but we received a letter from our county's judicial system stating that incarcerated individuals could not communicate with each other. Jail to jail, prison to prison or prison to jail is not allowed.
