I homeschooled four kids for 19.5 yrs. Each child had a favorite color and their toothbrushes, notebooks, pencils, color pouch, etc were their color. Helped with being organized and knowing who left their things out!

After many years of infertility, we were blessed with two beautiful and healthy babies. I took such delight in my home and household…organization, meals, structure, and just lived out the sheer joy and appreciation. My 2 miracle babies are in the late teen stage now, and while this season has its own splendors, I miss those baby and early childhood years. Watching your posts takes me back to that season. You have a beautiful family and I love that you share such encouragement and sweet ideas for other households. Blessings!

My mother was a pack rat and I have a house full of stuff. I never know how to sort it or what to do with it. But I got some great ideas from you. One thing that has worked for us with homeschooling is having a school crate for each child. You can get plastic crate from the store for a good price. You can either use file folders to contain each subject or just put the books/workbooks/math manipulatives in the crate so they can easily be flipped through. I have mine stored under an antique writing desk in our dining/kitchen area. I have my teaching books on top of this desk for easy access on a daily basis.

Erin, you and Chad are such great parents! Your precious, sweet little children are so quiet. Entertaining themselves while you do this little vblog. You and your hubby are so humble, you're raising your children to be humble and not trying to be in front of the camera, and just nonsense that kids do at that age. Some parents are rude and allow their children to be that way when it's not cute at all. That's when I won't watch. I will stop watching when parents are allowing their children to be rude that way. But you are doing such a good job. The way you raise your children to be so respectful. My children are adults, and I raised them the same way you are doing with your precious children! Thanks for the tips! We are a family of 8 and I would keep a “homeschool closet” in which my husband made shelves and I would organize everything by subject (ie one half of the shelf all math, other half language, next shelf half history other half science). Quick question: what do you do with toys that your kids might receive as a gift from family or friends? For example, if they received legos or calico critters? Something that doesn’t “fit” into one of categorized baskets, where would those go?

I’m a first time mom with a one year old, going on two years married and your videos have been a blessing, may the Lord bless you more and more 🙏💕 There is a video request in my mind that has been lingering around 😅 can Chad do a video about how he started and ran Paine Construction? 😁 from what I understood that seems to be his company and seems like you guys are doing great and able to move to Florida and able to have your own home!! 🌴 ☀️ My husband and I are kind of in the same boat. We sometimes have a conversation about moving to Florida too, and my husband also does construction, he wants to start his own company one day but we want to do this the right way and not have regrets looking back!🙈😅 We do live in California so I know we most definitely won’t have the same journey haha but just some simple tips and guidance would be nice!
