I really appreciate everything you’re doing and sharing regarding sobriety in the skate scene. I think there’s a common thread for a lot of us old guys (I’m 46) who skated and then lost it because of various addictions but came back to it once we got clean. Several of us in Columbus Ohio that are a group of old guy skaters have that same story and it’s an important one to share.

Dudes are a major inspiration. I'm about to turn 40, and just dislocated two fingers on a super basic slappy boardslide (which I'm pretty comfortable doing, in general). I was all like "guess I'm done with my skating rebirth"... fuck that.

54 here son! dislocated foot/broken bone on our 4 tall x 8 wide half pipe last halloween 2020, can't wait to fully heal, learn from the mistake and get back on it! it is trully ALL IN OUR MINDS, ok, maybe up to 70! lol, cheers

Its so cool seeing those guys in their 60s in Mexico shredding it up! They look so young probably because of skateboarding lol. Edit: 3:30 thats exactly what got me back into it. I just was like "Im going skating" then friends were like yoo where are you skating? It started with the desire to shred, just like these migos.

We used to do that foot strap trick with some rubber cut from tire tubes... SO much fun. Dope to see these guys back at it in their later years.. I got back in at age 38 after 20 years away.

These videos are making me happy just like the 50/50 videos did. If there is some big company out there watching please hire Chad Caruso as your Skateboard marketing rep or spokesperson. He has the ability to go anywhere and make friends and connections and turn them into serious business relationships.
