OOOH! Neat idea. You know they will call if there is something hairy. I get the feeling those distances are uglier than I can wrap my head around though. I'll make a map of where Matt, Paul, Rory, Robby, and Chad are. OH NO I DID map it! It's like 3 hours between any of them. Rory is the furthest. American Fork, Ephraim, Glenndale, Moab, and Hurricane. Mapquest them and be humbled.

Hey Chad for balancing your big tires out I have found the best way and the cheapest way is I will throw 4 to 6 golf balls in the tires before installing the tires on the wheels!!! Definitely give that a try and see how well it works for you also and let me know!!! I have done this to several sets of boggers that I run on my 1969 Chevy K30 truck!!! And seriously my 1969 Chevy K30 with a set of 39” boggers on it ride’s super nice a smooth down the road with 4 golf balls in each tire!!! It definitely ride’s much smoother than my 2007 classic body style 2500HD Duramax rides also!!! Every time someone rides in my 1969 Chevy that is the very first thing out of there mouth is how smooth of a riding truck it is with how big and tall it is also!!!

What a beautiful truck. I'd love to see a sticker of a big Ol' Kodiak Brown/Grizzly bear bust on each door. Tho up here, in Alaska, they are called "Kodiak Brown Bears." Tho the Kodiak and the regular Brown bear are two different species, but the two names Brown and Grizzly are synonymous with each other. But Griz needs the Kodiak, IMHO.

Hi Chad 🥸!! The death wheel will always be with us. But there is alt tools. May I suggest for that type of frame cuts try the largest Of the cordless band saws. Doesn't have the Sparks of a death wheel either 😀. Mark both sides so you can make sure that your band saws making a square cut and you would be surprised how quickly it'll go through that ☺️ . I hope it works as well for you as it has for me. All the best my friend and good luck 🍀😅

Looking great!!!! I love trying to keep the stock look as much as possible. I wonder for the lower part of the bumper you cut off, where it angles up from the winch, if you could weld in a piece on each side of another bumper to fill that in. Would extend the bumper chrome further down somewhat and help keep that somewhat stock look. I also thought, when you mentioned the tubing for the fenders, what about a piece along the bottom of the bumper lip to help with dragging over stuff. Should also keep the stock look but also add a little protection. No matter I am sure you'll make it look ever better than it already does.

I just now noticed while you were Professionally moving that trailer. On the back of Griz where your rear shock can is located. My, it's gonna mess it up brain, noticed that location is near the rear tow hook. What went through my mind was, if either a chain, cable or what ever you put through that hook, breaks. Looks like a real good chance of tearing that canister up when it breaks under pressure. It may be 100% fine where it is. Just looks like it could get messed up down the road.

For serious…. You need air shocks. Your trailer hoist lowered the back of the wrecker 4 inches or more and that removes your front wheel drive in many places. Complete air system with dash controls for up and down and if you don’t mind my saying so air shocks aren’t enough alone as they only hold up not down. Love your very civilized wrecker. You ought to have a shop nickname: Clean as a whistle.

Awesome job! Anyone can put a reciever hitch in and just pull the trailer where you want in in a few minutes, it takes a man (or two) to do it the fun way! Hey, we got a wrecker now, pass the hook and lets see what it can do. Also, projects that we can ever call "done" are not really progects but simply that boring vehicle that is no longer fun but just a tool rhat we now have to find a way to break so we can work on it again. 😂
