Salt Lake Offroad Expo 2024

We got everything ready and loaded up and headed to Sale Lake for the annual Offroad Expo. We got to display Trailmater, Ol Blue, the buggy, and the Model AA Wrecker. Agree. Maybe Matt's team has changed (and gotten too big?). It feels like they are trying to "entertain" us instead of letting us watch what they do. Same with Robby's channel. If I wanted to watch "entertainers" there are "reality" shows on TLC or Discovery Channel. I'm glad it's working out well for them but I would rather watch Trail Mater, Dirtbilly Deluxe, Fab Rats, and mix in a little Merlins Old School Garage. #beyourself #beauthentic

Don't get ahead of yourself. Neither you nor I were there and it is quite common to go after people's money when they get rich. Look at all the famous actors that were being sued years after the fact. That never happened until they were rich. As for recovery skills, Matt has some too. Sandy Utah is only a couple of hours away.... It's much harder for Rory to get there with all his equipment then it is for me.... I just have to drive down and enjoy.....

@@Kalimerakis Mater is the name of a tow truck in the movie "Cars." It's short for Tow-Mater (tomater, like a Southerner might call a tomato.) Rory's truck is used for offroad towing, so it is Trail-Mater.

I used to live in SLC .UT I had four good friends we used to take our Vacation two weeks and go four wheeling and rock climbing in Moab .We all had jeeps .that was 30 years ago.Im 80 now .Love to watch all of your channels . They aren't worried about a small explosion. What they are worried about is a large sustained fire, in a confined space, with many other vehicles with large amounts of fuel, with the potential of large numbers of people! Pretty much all indoor events with vehicles have those requirements. It is just common sense!

Gasoline doesn’t expload, gasoline fumes are what causes explosions, gasoline catches on fire. You need a certain mixture of gasoline vapour and oxygen, same reason why grain silos can exploded. The “ combustion “ engine works for that very reason, vapour + pressure + oxygen + spark= motion.

Saw everything at the off road expo. Got to talk to Mike for a bit. Rory was busy with his daughter and Sean was busy with customers. All them vehicles look sweet. Trail mater looks like it could be in a madmax movie. Wanted to meet Robby but left before he arrived. ... sad day. But that is ok will stop by his shop one day.
