I actually have the “Slushy Magic”, got it like 7 or 8 years years ago. I used it like two months ago, and to my surprise, the ice cubes (ice cube packs) still made a slushy! What do you think of that Chapstick! Hmmmmmm.... Edit: after watching the full video I can confirm that the ice cube packs are not, I repeat NOT supposed look like that. Mine still look like plain water inside. Chapstick may be poisoned. 😐

It works, it just takes a lot longer than they show in the commercials. It takes like 12 hours to freeze the cubes (because it's Brine) and about 20 or 30 minutes to get your drink totally slushified. Also if your freezer isn't cold enough to freeze the cubes totally solid it won't get cold enough to slushify the drink either.

If you want to do this, get a big bag and fill it with ice and throw in a little bit of salt. Then get a little bag, fill it with your liquid of choice and stick it in the big bag and squish it around. It usually works for ice cream so it might work for slushies.
