Because advancements in the manufacture of electronic components had advanced further. The GameBoy Color was also more battery efficient, which was Nintendo's main priority in the design of their handhelds until the GBA SP, when rechargable batteries became a practical option.

To be fair, that last point about CD-roms *was legit*. Optical media will always be slower than a ROM cartridge. The problem was that cartridges where MUCH more expensive to produce and had much lower storage capacity than optical media... back then. Nowadays, flash memory has rendered all of those concerns obsolete, as you can get a metric ton of high-capacity "cartridges" for almost nothing, but with all the advantages over optical media intact. That's why anyone concerned that the Nintendo Switch uses flash carts instead of some kind of optical media disc shouldn't be. There's literally no advantage there, especially for something portable, just look at how Sony dropped the stupid UMDs for Vita.
@drakkenmensch5 жыл бұрын
... unless the game is badly programmed. Try playing "Captain America and the Avengers" for the SNES. That game is so poorly optimized that there is waiting time to load stages that feels like LOADING TIME. This should not happen with a ROM cartridge!!!

I have a theory about these Chadtronic reaction videos, I am not including the let's play channel nor the streams. Just the reaction videos mostly. Now hear me out guys. Bottom line: Chadtronic and his whole house are in a whole separate dimension. A world between our world and cyberspace. Chadtronic is unconsciously controlling this universe of his. How is this possible you ask? Here let me tell you. From what we know, we've seen only the room in the beginning of every Chadtronic reaction video, to the door, another door (possibly the same) leading to the hallway with another door from the Toilet training video, and the bathroom with a toilet with Chadtronic's face on it. There's something already strange there. Not only that, the door that Chadtronic opens which is at the end of the main room sometimes leads to certain scenes in games or some video. For example, the bread video or in another recent reaction video the Zelda CDI it led to a monster. So, we know that Chadtronic's door is some kind of portal. The real way, like when it's turned off is probably the hallway we see. This portal relies on Chadtronic's reaction video, but he seems surprised by it. Because he does this unconsciously. He doesn't know he has this power. What's not to say he got most of his amiibos from just making that door into a portal to Gamestop or a grocery. It's because that's what he has on his mind, so that's what he wishes or remembers. He remembers Sammyclassicsonicfan and Zelda, so those are the scenes that show up. And then there's Sanic. Now, this world of his is quite egocentric. In a good way of course. We see this from again the Toilet episode in which his toilet has his face. And we also see that he's copying SammyclassicSonicfan's video intro in one of the SammyclassicSonicfan videos. Going back to the door example, what's not to say that when he goes into that imaginary Game stop that he meets a Chadtronic clerk. He wouldn't know it's his own face because he thinks it's someone else or he sees someone different. The universe he created came to be on accident. Chad thinks he's a part of us, but in actual reality he's separated in a way. He may look human and talk like us and act like us, but he doesn't know he's a god of a universe. We do not know how this universe came to be. It's possible that ever since he started making the videos it happened or some other date in that I do not know about. Lastly, how does he contact us. The viewers. He uses cyberspace obviously and the internet. He contacts us and makes videos of what he reacts to in his universe because that's what he likes to do a lot. He likes seeing our world. He's interested in us human viewers. He thinks he's a human, but in reality he's a god amongst us. He's a universal controller and accidental creator of his own universe that links us to him to the internet. It is like Chadtronic looks through cyberspace as a window to our human world because he wants to be like us. And he is one of us. He loves what he does and he says what he wants. He doesn't curse and he's a funny guy. That's the end of my theory.

You are quite entertaining when you react because you do more then just watch the video, you actually make jokes and question the weird things. By far the best reactor!
