Volkanovski being the backup fighter for this one would make absolutely no sense. It would be a possible double-champ fight. No way the UFC would waste such a guaranteed hit on a card in Abu Dhabi. If they wanted Volk to go for the champ-champ status, it would definitely be marketed like crazy and the UFC would milk every penny it could out of it.
