Fantastic tutorial! I’ve watched countless videos, tried every method, but this is the best, easiest way I’ve come across to eliminate those terrible gaps when using turning chains. I’m finally getting my HDC Bernat Blanket yarn lapghans finished for Christmas gifts, the edges are nice & straight. Can’t wait to use this on all my projects. Thank you!

I've been using chainless turning for all the (other) stitches forever, somehow this is the first time I have a pattern calling for HDC (ch2) start of a row. Thanks so much for putting this out there :)

The left loop. Going by numbers will just confuse people. It's easier just to see a left loop, and a right loop.

I know this is an old video. But where would you put stitch markers at the end of each row?

What about sc? How do I do a no turning chain? Just do a sc in first stitch?

Yes, you can. Though at this point I actually do a loose chain before starting with a HDC, and then just do the HDC and don't count the chain. Then I do the 2 sc stack for DC. :)
