Tom Cavanagh as Godfrey is inspired casting, i’m conflicted about this turn of events of Clark losing his powers but the writing has been so good I’m gonna see how it plays out. The action scenes at the end were awesome. Seeing Clark having to beat John Henry out of the suit to save him was pretty cool. I really think the final two episodes are gonna be worth all the hype.

G. Gordon Godfrey was the news reporter from Young Justice that's actually in alliance with Darkseid. It's confusing but in some instances he's just a crooked reporter while others he's actually called Glorious Godfrey that's still in association with Darkseid and his earth name is simply a cover up.

Godfrey aka G. Gordon Godfrey is Glorious Godfrey. Glorious Godfrey is one of Darkseid's enforcers in the comics.

Just realized that this is the first time we saw Jon use heat vision. Although he got his powers episodes ago, he never used his heat vision. I was wondering when we'd see it, but knew from budget cuts they probably avoided showing that sooner. Tom Cavanaugh's character Godfrey was in Young Justice, as G. Gordon Godfrey. I think they purposefully avoided showing who Milton was until this episode. They knew people would think Tom Cavanaugh was Milton, so it was a misdirect. I'm okay with Clark getting to grow old with Lois and retiring. It's unclear whether Clark will live as a normal human after losing his powers and grow old with Lois, or if he's going to keep deteriorating and die before Lois. He doesn't mention that Jon and Jordan should take over because he doesn't want to put pressure on them to do so. Jordan had a lot of pressure back when he was the only powered son. Advancing Jordan too soon didn't go well before.

Godfrey was also in DCAU's Justice League as a normal human with no ties to Darkseid and star of his own talk show roasting the superheroes and that Flash (Wally West) inadvertently gave him more reasons to go against them
