This is one of the very best chair exercises ! I have been doing this routine for few years now, and older I get, more and more I appreciate this wonderful routine. It helps me to maintain the all body mobility and my back does not give me trouble! Cindy, it is so easy to follow your calming instructions and, thank you for your encouragements ! I am on week two of this routine every day and can feel measurable effects. My back aches less, my posture is better and I feel more energised. Really good for the elderly (which I am).

Oh my goodness! I was beginning to think I would just have to put up with pain in my lower back and left hip when I saw your video and decided to try it. I just finished my first time through “Chair exercise for low back pain” and I definitely feel some relief in my back and hip. I knew I needed to stretch, but I’m 64 y.o. and everything I found kept wanting me laying on the ground, which I can’t really do. Thank you for these stretches. They helped. I’ll be back tomorrow for more.

Cindy: This is a wonderful set of stretching exercises which includes several exercises that are hard to find in other instructors' routines. However, your speed is too fast throughout, so that the practitioner usually has insufficient time to finish or go sufficiently through the exercise at hand. If you added 5 or 10 minutes to the whole routine it would be much better. Barry, 73.

I just did the very beginning and I already feel good. I got a concussion on a Wednesday and the following Wednesday I received another one and had my lower back and my whole body messed up in a car accident. I have been dealing with this for 9 years and then I got plantar fasciitis. So I am a mess. I’m 53 and can only be on my feet so long before I have to sit so my lower back can calm down. So glad I found you! I'm 71 and my knees don't get me to the ground lol. I have suffered with LBP for years! I am overweight and only 4'11", so I'm sure that is a lot of the problem. I need to strengthen lower back muscles...as that helped before the pandemic..I belonged to a gym then The gym closed, and little by little the back pain has returned. big time. I cannot even walk a half block without pain. It's so depressing because there are so many things I would like to do, but just can't. Of course, low motivation doesn't help! Thank you for your videos, I saw several good exercises I am able to do!

Lois, Don't give up! Progress Is slower as we age as I am discovering with my rehab. But with baby steps and consistency, you should start to see improvement after a couple of weeks. Just keep thinking of all those things you would like to do and KEEP GOING! You can do it! Keep me posted.

Strained my lower back and was lying down for relief and had to start some movement. This is very helpful. Greatest relief was using counter and arm support to begin stretching back which couldn't til then. Only request is to add in some mellow instrumental music, but I did that with my phone. Thanks Cindy finally begnning to break pain cycle.

I am so Happy I found you. I went to physio and chiropractor ended up with further back pain, but Cindy’s Workout is the only one that gives me relief and in fact I feel it is helping me heal. Cindy I am so glad I found your back pain regime. I live in Ireland and it’s very damp. I have had back pain for a year and tried everything from acupuncture to physio etc etc. I have been doing your exercises for 10 days and already feel so much better. I look forward to them I think that is the first time I have looked forward to an exercise. Thank-you for these exercises. I had acute pain in m back and was very stiff and could not bend. The slightest bump in the car gave much pain in my back, The first day I found relief. The car pumps do not bring on extreme pain The exercises made my right hip sore which was probably the reason for back pain I do appreciate your exercises and that is why I am thanking you.

@@FitnessWithCindy Thank-you . It is nice of you to ask. I am very good this week . I did have a recurrence of pain when I got out of bed too fast but that is OK now . In that I can sit without pain is the biggest success test that exercises have helped . My friend gave me a Dr, Scholl's vibrating pad that probably gets blood flowing. And my daughter gave me some CHC cream that I only used twice. I also resumed walking that I do every day . The full circuit is around 2.5 miles if I do the whole trail. I am very happy that there has been an improvement over very painful episodes. .I also pray as a habit as I have been healed so many times and do thank God as I felt prompted to do some exercises.. I am 84.

I ran across this video today. I am young but I injured my lower back by lifting wrong, though I was not able to some of these workouts due to tightness and pain I am now able to walk around and manage the pain I do have. yesterday I did floor stretches and got stuck on the floor for about 6 hours and it was horrible.
