So I guess since you're such a better christian than Yolanda that you don't know the song. Why are you watching a song about "self glorification?" Shouldn't you be watching a gospel video?
@foxymidnite14 жыл бұрын
no she didn't, Chaka and Yolanda are friends and she's not did try and compete and yet Chaka still overpowered at some points and at the end just like she wanted to. She wanted Yolanda to get her shine on and run out of breath so she could get her at the end of the song which she did.

Me either.
@christhomas5761 Жыл бұрын
Well the first verse especially is talking about casting spells, mixing brews, putting fire inside of you which is all definitely witchcraft at the very least... CeCe Winans is a christian and those lyrics would definitely be contrary to her christian faith so I can understand her perspective.
@Worme9513 жыл бұрын
@LuKasAV6 I know there were some heavy weights up on that stage Stevie, Prince, Chaka Khan. India Arie and Yolanda Adams are nothing to play with either.

I don't comment on EVERYone. No, I actually live a full, happy, interesting life :~). I just love you enough to let the truth be known about perpetrators like Yolanda Adams. You must not be a child of God because if you were, you would see what is so terribly wrong with this business venture of Yolanda A.s(SMH). Remember, love will always tell the truth, but hate will always conceal because hate favors what is deemed "political correctness" over the welfare of others...

Why are you comparing one person to the next? Who said anything about being a better Christian than the next, besides you of course? The fact is, Yolanda Adams should not be here and stop trying to turn the tables on people. Whether I heard the song or know the song or not, it does not change the fact that she is out of order. And we wonder why her so called ministry had dwindled... She is a sell out.
@pdoe49666 жыл бұрын

So Digidestiny2099, I am not looking for the "purfect" Christian. I expect those who claim the name of Christ to rep the name of Chist all the way. Yolanda Adams is PERPETRATING. You are just mad at me for talking about your one of your favorite artist that's all. smh
@EnChristosEime4life14 жыл бұрын
YOu are rediculous you know that?? Any person who sits up here and condones this foolishness is sad and tired. I am not looking for Yolanda Adams to be the perfect Christian, but what I expect is for her to be BLAMELESS as the Word tells us to be. What she is doing is sending a conflicting message to the unsaved (and obviously through your presentation here) and the saved. A person is identified by their fruit. Chaka is not born again. She's got suggestive pics of herself on MS for one.
@EnChristosEime4life14 жыл бұрын
She is still singing songs that GLAMORIZES SIN and the things God hates. Can't you see that or are you too busy bobbing your heard to her tunz??? Yolanda Adams dresses very seductively for a Christian woman. Did yo usee that red dress she wear at the Celebration of Gospel this year. It's sparking a lot of remarks too. Her left breast was practically hanging out (not modest at all). She sings songs made by antichrists (John Lenon's Imagine). And she also sings with Bone Thug N... So sad.

A judger is a sinner
@EnChristosEime4life14 жыл бұрын
Which is a pathetic fact. It is a sad sad day when an alleged saint aims to out sing a sinner with the sinner's song. No Christian should have been sing that song--the song is all about self glorification. Nothing in the song points to the Lord. Now I don't expect Chaka to understand that, but Yolanda Adams should have. Don't you think it is rather hypocritical? The song aims to make the object of the song (which is the songstress) preeminent, awesome, celebrated, god. It's a shame.
@mackpatterson49112 жыл бұрын
They havin fun, chill out!!!!, The song is about the empowerment of women, likewise, the bible also has scripture of the empowerment of women, there were no sexual connotations, no cuss words, Yolanda,like a whole lot of other female singers adore Chaka and her unmatched vocal abilities, no one is sin free, including YOU!!!
