I’m new to this art and I’m so glad I found this video! I just Started working on a piece almost identical to this one and wasn’t really happy with how it was going. I couldn’t decide on a technique suitable for the long doors until now. I’m doing my base in graphite and the top in duck egg and probably fluff or I’ll lighten the duck egg. I really appreciate your thoughtful comment Cassandra 🙏❤️ I always hope to help others use colours but it doesn’t have to be so bright or overpowered, it’s like the added touch or accents of a colour are what really make it look so beautiful! What I love about making new projects is how much learn lol 😂 I would never have thought or plan to paint a piece of furniture pink because I think 🤔 a huge pink dresser pop in my mind that is to much pink lol 😂 So I am trying to see colours in a more muted way without taking it away but how is that colour seen in a natural way similar to what we see in nature. Again I am learning too and I really enjoy sharing these projects with everyone. @@TheReclaimedHeirloom actually it's been a week since I put down the first layer 🙄 as soon as I gi over it, even with dry brushing, it activates and the two colours mix together. Also kacha never answers any of my questions 😓
