Very nice ..and I love that you incorporated the beast in the middle I love them.. The building is impressive, simple but again very detailed. Thank you for the how to segment, and for sharing some of your experience with us. BRAVO once again.

Thanks friend! The beast is loud but worth it I think. so cool. I agree. Simple in design but large enough that I could pack in a lot of details. just over 20,000 instances. No problem I am glad you like it! It's people like you that help me improve my content with good suggestions so thank you!

@@9byte 11 months later... But I gotta ask, does 20k instances mean there're 20k placed objects in this build? 😱 Meaning any structure piece or item in item frames/wooden crates and carts etc. I guess 🤔

I've missed so many streams. Can't wait for the full shire tour video to see what I missed. :D Also, regarding the loud serpent, I wonder if there's a mob "silencing" mod, like how in Minecraft you can name a nametag "silenced" and then apply it to a mob to remove their game sounds. Might a similar alternative for Valheim somewhere. 🤔

More Shire stuff coming soon Dean don't you worry! I think there are still two or three streams in the Shire. That's a spectacular idea I ill have to look into that... that would mean I could use ALL the animals hahaha

Awesome build! Question - how did you get the trees & plants around your water feature?
@livealife40862 жыл бұрын
Hi I watched your video about a villiage. Incredible work! Also I want to ask about a wooden dock for the fisher house: don't the pier beams get permanent water damage? They are destroyed pretty quickly.
@9byte2 жыл бұрын
Rain and water damage will only bring something to 50% health, so it won't be destroyed unless you or an enemy mob destroys it.

Impressive. I have 2 questions. How could you reach this high? Even with metal structure, it seems too high. And how your pc can read all details of your building? It's really too massive. And last question. How many time to build this? Congratulations! It's really beautiful work
@9byte2 жыл бұрын
I have a build heights guide that can explain this perfectly.... but In short stone does not assist iron but iron does assist stone. So the stone height is higher than normal because of the presence of iron in the towers and walls. I used the stone for most of the wood connections. At the VERY top the iron is not enough though so I used a trick that you can do without mods(that I show better in the build heights video) where I spawn in a rock(with devcommands) called rock_destructable_test that can act as a foundation wherever you spawn it in. The rock is a large cluster of rocks that can be broken down into one rock out of the cluster so it can be hidden better. To be honest it was not my intention to use this trick at all anymore but I accidently built this too tall to support without some 'help'. Took about 30 hours to build. Thanks for the comment friend, take care!
@biloute62072 жыл бұрын
@@9byte ooook I understand now. I never use mod but I try to build most higher house with metal fence and it's no possible to get this high. But I know a trick to get a high better than metal fence and without mod, the pin tree. You can build around and hide the tree if you don't like the sight and make a big high with it. So you did this just in 2 days woaw. And my last question. Did you draw it on a paper before to build in a game? Or you did that just by feeling?
@9byte2 жыл бұрын
@@biloute6207 I did not use a mod to do this. I used devcommands. These are built into the game. 👍👍 Build heights video so that you can understand build heights: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nnfCe5J6d9hnrMk Yes trees will create a foundation for anything touching it just like the rock trick that I used here. I did it in 30 hours so it took me about 4 days of long building sessions. I did this build by feeling I suppose. The layout is pretty simple to be honest. Its just a square with 4 towers. The main idea here was to create a large enough structure that it felt massive on the inside so that it looked cool and also so I could include a water feature on the inside for the theme of the build.
