Dude you missed the easiest method for fixing roof gaps- use a ❌ beam to create a snapping point halfway down a roof piece and build of that, this will fill in 99% of gaps most people will come across. Other than that good vid i hate square tops on circle roofs though, and with enough practice and sometimes some manual placements you can get circular points on most builds

1:32 It means "mother". Depending on the language it's pronounced "mooder" with a rolled R (Swedish), "mooder" with a very weirdly rolled R that almost sounds like "sh" (Norwegian), or sth like "mo-ah" (Danish). There's also Icelandic but the spelling is different (móðir) and it's pronounced "mowthir" (the "th" and the "i" as in "this" and, again, weirdly rolled R, almost "sh").

The rpg linear road experience is a world download. No mods. The mmo live server version is being worked on still but if you want to test the modpack now its called the gothic mod pack. Would recommend joining the discord for more info on this stuff though.

Sounds like you need to research more about castles. The things you call gatehouses aren't gatehouses at all. A gatehouse isn't a piece of wall with a gate surrounded by towers, a gatehouse is a large tower-like building itself with a longer tunnel inside, not a flat wall with a gate. People inside the gatehouse have openings towards the tunnel in order to attack enemies that may have broken through the gate and have to traverse the tower to come out on the other side of the gatehouse. The wider building you've shown in the drawbridge picture is an actual gatehouse

Where do you build for these test areas? Or what uhm.. mod? that allows you to build in the air so that youre not building on the ground as a blown out blueprint?
@9byte7 күн бұрын
Everything is infinity hammer mod. Which should be used with its companion mods, server dev commands and world edit. Infinite health pieces are the floating pieces and the test area is off the edge of the world with 'no edge of world pull with god mode' option checked in mod configurator. If you want to use building mods I have a mod list and info on how to use them in my discord.
@EmTeGaming7 күн бұрын
@ I assumed it was at the edge of the world.. went traveling last night and went way beyond the world / map and it eventually turned into Ashland - and the shader / rendering of the thunder cracking from the storm is so fun to watch! I couldn’t figure out the no pulling situation. Reading this - assuming God Mode will remove the pull unless this is a specific mode within one of the mods. I am a huge Ark builder and never played this game through. Just recently came over for the building aspects and your videos are 🤌🏻

I'm going to have to up my vanilla build prowess... I know mods were used, but much of what's here can be done without, just not as clean, and limited to what console commands can do. It's also nice to see other people come up with combinations of pieces that I've also put together. Will be looking at your discord to see what others have been saying, may need to post what I've been working on.

I appreciate the thought of making a guide, but just some constructive critisism, I would recommend not running the video at 4x speed and have cuts where you teleport to the next brazier, when you're trying to make a clear guide on how to find them all... I had to run the video at 0.25x speed to be able to follow it... Also, looking at another comment, you blew up a wall to go get a small chest, which would just add to the confusion as that's not needed for the achievement...
