Lovely Church, no horses when I visited, but that was eight years ago😊 Not many churches are open before nine in the morning so that was a bonus.

Lovely video Bernie, I’m nostalgic for spring now! I always comment when we drive round those lanes how many large oak trees there are in the hedges, I need to check some old maps but my feeling is that there must have been a lot more woodland than there is now. Unless it was wood pasture.

Thanks Kerry. I think you're right, in that this might well have been a more largely forested area. Timber for houses etc. maybe? It's good to see natural species being allowed to return to where they belong instead of acres and acres of conifers that, in my opinion, have no place ib our part of the world.

When did you actually film this? Maybe there was a wedding planned planned for later that Saturday hence the church would be open and heating on for preparation ie flowers, order ot service and the service itself.
