@@kristamoser I made a quilt recently that said to NOT use this type of ruler (with the tip cut off) but I was unwilling to buy a whole new ruler for one quilt. So a slight bit of math and this one worked great!

Hi Krista, I have just finished the Lap size quilt top with the kit that I bought from you and its looking good{even if I do say so myself}. I wanted to ask you please, what colour thread did you use to do your straight line quilting. Thank you so much.
@jennifermaddock43822 жыл бұрын
I adore the bright version. Your video instructions are great but I wouldn't call this a beginner quilt. Too many angles for beginners. I'm game to try it though. Thanks sew much.
@kristamoser2 жыл бұрын
You are right! This is a beginner quilt for angles... there is a learning curve for everyone with angles, even those who are experienced quilters with squares and rectangles. This is a good place to start!

Do you shorten your stitch length when pressing open?
@kristamoser2 жыл бұрын
Yes I do! I typically use about 1.8 or 2.0 as my stitch length.

Krista, What fabric line are the fabrics for the succulent kit from? I ask because there are some solid fabrics I prefer over others. Thank you.

These are all Kona solids. They are Robert Kaufman fabrics.

Can you use fat quarters to cut the strips from?
@kristamoser2 жыл бұрын
You probably could, but you would need to make more strip sets because I know you wouldn't get quite as many cuts from two fat quarter length strip sets as you would from a full length strip set.
@wasloan82022 жыл бұрын
@@kristamoser Even if you beveled the ends and staggered the strips before sewing them into a strip set? Thanks for the reply!
@kristamoser2 жыл бұрын
@@wasloan8202 I think that would be your best shot! If you have a 22" long strip you might just pull it off!
